During our intercessory prayer time every Sunday morning, we select one country to bring to the congregation’s attention. During this time of prayer, we lift up to God the people of that country and their leaders. We pray for their salvation, their protection and their physical needs. Here on the Westwood Blog, you’ll be able to view those prayer needs, as well as download a prayer card to print and keep in sight.

- Pray for government leaders to make good decisions to help develop the economy for the betterment of the whole nation.
- Many Caboverdians live in migrant communities in the U.S., Portugal, France, Angola and Senegal. Pray for these people that they may become followers of Christ and take the gospel to their homeland.
- Most Caboverdians say they are Catholic, but their religious practices are influenced by superstitions. Christian literature in the Creole language is also lacking in Cape Verde. Pray for missionaries in Cape Verde, as they share the gospel, and pray for the people of Cape Verde, that they come to understand the message of Christ.
